Star Trek™ RPG to Launch in Early 2002

Roleplayers and Star Trek fans alike have a treat in store with the upcoming launch of the new Star Trek Roleplaying Game. The Star Trek RPG will utilize Decipher's proprietary new "cinematic" game system, concentrating on character development and capturing the drama of all the Star Trek properties.

The first releases will be the Star Trek RPG Player's Guide (tentatively scheduled to release in February 2002), followed by the Narrator's Guide. The guides will include all the background information and character-creation rules you need to create and play your favorite characters from the Star Trek universe.

The Player's Guide and Narrator's Guide will be sold in game and hobby stores, the Decipher Store, and the Official Star Trek Fan Club Online Store. Set up your roleplaying campaign and prepare to engage at Warp 9.9!

On a sidenote, I wish they didn't keep this cover and put Janeway more in the background ... or replace her with Archer even .

Do you think might be soon enough for my birthday (second third of february)? Or more importantly, do you think it'll ship to Europe/France?

If it weren't for my lighting a fire under their butts, who knows how long you good people would have waited.

    No thanks are neccesary.

Damn.. I'll be spending more money in the next 2 months on entertainment than is healthy for any student.

    Angel S1 DVD
    Die Hard 1-3 DVD
    Star Trek TNG S1 DVD
    Gamecube out in March....
ST RPG might be out sometime in March

    Double Damn...

Expecting the usual date shifting and the time transporting books across the Atlantic will take the game might be out for my birthday.
No power in the 'verse can stop me.

I won't pass around the Warnog until I have the book in my hands. There is many a slip tween the cup, and the lip.

Ditto. I'll believe it when it's in my hands, and not one second before.

    At last!

"Tentative" news is better than no news.

    However...

    NO MORE DELAYS!

I mean it man... I've got an Illudium Pu-36 Explosive Space Modulator... and I'm not afraid to use it!

Any more delays, and I'm going to blow up the Earth! Won't that be nifty, Hmm?

I prefer bloodwine myself. But I agree keep the vintage stuff bottled until the book is actually in your hand.
